About the concert

Join us for a beautiful, uplifting afternoon concert as singers and musicians from Forres, the Moray area and beyond come together to perform a wonderful selection of music in the spirit of peace and harmony.Featuring cello, violin and piano ensembles and solos, adult and youth choirs and acapella singers, the programme includes pieces such as 'Méditation' from Thaïs by Massenet, 'Benedictus' from Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace, 'Bring Him Home' from Les Misérables by Claude-Michel Schönberg, 'Come Away In' by Karine Polwart, 'Sing' by Gary Barlow, and many more.

All net proceeds will be given to Forres Youth Choir to support local music making opportunities for young people in Forres.

Venue Notes

The Strathcona Room will be open from 14:30, offering the opportunity to begin your evening with a glass of fizz before the concert begins and throughout including the interval.
