The Golden Thread

The Golden Thread is a live storytelling series where the stories take center stage. Each show features an opportunity for anyone to step up and tell their story and a curated mix of experienced storytellers sharing personal tales that surprise, move, and inspire. Rooted in Auburn but open to voices from everywhere, The Golden Thread connects audiences through the timeless power of live storytelling.

And stories shine when something true inside them catches the light.  They shine when a storyteller reveals a moment that mattered — a crossroads, a mistake, a triumph, a heartbreak, a discovery. They shine when the familiar suddenly feels new, or when the personal becomes universal, when the story connects us — when it reminds us that even though our experiences are different, the emotions behind them are shared. Wonder. Joy. Fear. Courage. Loss. Hope.

The program will start at 6:30pm and the first 45 minutes will be open mike to provide an opportunity for anyone to tell their story.  After a short intermission we will restart at 7:30 with stories from these experienced storytellers:
