Social Care focuses on supporting individuals in maintaining their well-being and independence, encompassing a broad range of needs, beyond clinical treatment. Social Care Nursing supports daily living, social engagement, and overall quality of life, often preventing or reducing the need for NHS treatment. Following the announcement of the 10 year plan, this provides a new opportunity for the sector to engage with the ambitions of a stronger, better, safer health and care service.
