Program Description:
Northwest Oregon is known for its snow-capped mountains and rocky coastlines but it is the rivers that connect these landscapes and provide a home for some of the most iconic wildlife in the Pacific Northwest. Take a trip East towards the dry, arid Oregon high desert with us to explore the Deschutes River and all of the geological wonders they have to offer! Grab a paddle and join our expert guides as we navigate class II-III rapids. Along the way enjoy the scenic landscapes and watch for fish darting through the crystal clear waters beneath us. With the perfect combination of calm floats and excitement, this paddle is great for first-time rafters and seasoned paddlers alike!

Transportation:
Transportation is included in the cost of this trip. Please indicate if you plan to use our transportation during your registration. Participants who would rather meet on-site can meet us at the Harpham Flats Campground and Boat Ramp.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Inclement weather is in the forecast, should we cancel?

  • The AWL guide has the sole responsibility to cancel a program due to weather conditions. Certain weather conditions are often unavoidable in Oregon.

What if we don’t get enough participants?

  • In order to guarantee that the trip will proceed, we must reach the minimum required number of participants at least 7 days in advance. If we do not reach that number by this time, we have the right to cancel the program.

If we need to cancel, how should we notify you?

  • The short answer is, the fastest and most direct way. An email or phone call as soon as you think you may have to cancel is the best option. Even if you're unsure, shoot us an email. It will be very much appreciated.

What if AWL cancels the program?

  • If AWL chooses to cancel a trip due to weather, environmental conditions, or otherwise, you will be given a full refund. Please note, our trips require the minimum number of participants listed above to proceed.

What if a participant cancels?

  • If you need to cancel your spot on a trip, you must do so at least 7 days before the date of the trip in order to receive a full refund. If you cancel within 7 days of your trip, you will be charged 50% of the total trip cost. If you cancel or no-show within 24 hours of your trip, you will forfeit the entire cost of the trip. There is no exception to this policy.

I have other concerns or questions about the cancellation and refund policy, who should I contact?

  • Please contact the Program Team at info@awloutdoors.org
