2nd Birmingham Translational Research Symposium 2024 – Edgbaston Park Hotel, Fry Suite

Following the success of last year's event, the Translational Research Team is hosting the 2nd Birmingham Translational Research Symposium, to take place on Monday 8th July 2024 on campus, at the Edgbaston Park Hotel, Fry suite.

The aim of this symposium is to showcase translational research at Birmingham and provide a fantastic opportunity for our academics across the university, clinicians and professional services supporting translation to network and promote translational research culture within Life Sciences.

The programme include short oral presentations from selected translational researchers, poster sessions, a workshop designed to upskill academics on how to maximise their chances of funding and talks from Gino Martini, CEO to the Precision Health Technologies Accelerator (PHTA), and Professor Alicia El-Haj, Director of the Institute of Translational Medicine (ITM).
