The Zucchini Music Festival began in the early 1980s, when five families moved to Vermont around the same time and quickly became each other's community. They helped one another settle, shared meals, shared work, and celebrated the end of summer together. Sean's parents were part of that group - and one year, faced with an overabundance of zucchini, they decided to turn the problem into a party.
They wrote songs, made cookbooks together, laughed together, and even filled people's cars with zucchini during the festivities - a running joke that became part of the tradition. Before long the Zucchini Fest grew into an annual end-of-summer celebration of harvest, music, and community.
Now, we're bringing that tradition back - Honoring its roots while elevating it for a new generation. Join us for a three-day community festival offering

This festival has always been about neighbors gathering at the end of summer - and this year, we're inviting you to be a part of it. Bring a chair, bring your people, and lets close out summer the way it should be: together, under the sky, with music rolling across the field.
Lets make this the summer camp-out we'll all remember.
